A Virtual Crossroads For Sharing Our Heart & Passion!
Strolling along the canals of Venice, climbing to the top of a Mayan pyramid, riding in the back of a jeepney in Manila, savoring high tea at London’s famed Dorchester Hotel, hiking the peak of Italy’s Mount Vesuvius, or plunging into sapphire blue seas somewhere offshore in the Bahamas to photograph large tiger sharks? We’ve done all this… and more. Welcome to The Nomadic Tribes, a virtual crossroads for sharing our heart and passion in the form of travel tips and reviews, insights from what we’ve learned exploring reefs & roads that are less traveled, and swashbuckling musings with travel tribes scattered around the world.
People are tribal by nature. The human spirit craves the feeling of being part of something bigger than themselves. It’s embedded in our DNA. In bringing together like-minded people interested in exploration, travel adventures, scuba diving, photography, arts, culture, food and discovering new travel experiences, we create a travel tribe. Travel should be fun, engaging and inspiring. It need not be expensive, as evidenced by staycations which have become increasingly popular for allowing individuals, or families, to participate in touristic leisure activities that are all within driving distance of their home.
The Nomadic Tribes
The Nomadic Tribes is all about travel, scuba diving, adventure, rewarding travel experiences and lifestyle pursuits. We embrace the community of travelers around the globe who pursue adventure travel and wish to explore and live a life that’s less ordinary. Our raison d’etre is to chronicle and share our extensive travel experiences and ah-ha moments through words and images. Come together and become part of our travel tribe!
“Omnia Vincit Amor!” (Love Conquers All!)

We Hear You Singing Through The Wires
Please relay to us via email any encyclopedic questions, erudite commentary, whimsical suggestions, luminous ideas, embarrassingly mind-blowing praise, or a mysterious Mao Kun Map that shows the route to Ponce de León’s legendary Aqua de Vida, otherwise known as The Fountain of Youth. We absolutely love being in touch with the travel community and reading your electronic missives. Please be kind and don’t go off on a rant or slam doors if you don’t hear back from us right away, as we could be (duh?), away on a trip. We travel “off the beaten path” and may be temporarily off the grid with limited, or no Wi-Fi signal. Do not adjust your TV set, or burst your own bubble, as we dutifully respond to all correspondence. Don’t go into the light. If you have not heard back from us within a week or two, please re-send as your email may have mysteriously vanished into the Internet’s ether, or our application to enter the Witness Protection Program was fast tracked and we had to leave without packing, assume new Scandinavian identities, and are now chilling in a night club and Leve det liv fantastiske! in the quaint Norwegian town of Lillehammer, which some may recall gained international fame as the host of the 1994 Winter Olympic Games.
